Best Time to Visit

The heavenly Andaman and Nicobar Islands are best enjoyed in the pleasant weather. Far from the mainland India, these islands enjoy a blissful tropical weather. The ideal duration to visit the island is 3 to 4 days.

BY PORTS -There are around three to four ships sailing between Haddo Jetty, Port Blair in the Andamans and Calcutta and Chennai on the mainland. There is one sailing from Vishakhapattnam every two months.

Port Blair is the capital city of the island. Travellers can visit the beautiful Aberdeen Bazaar. Constructed entirely of wood, it has been razed to the ground several times in the history.
