Azerbaijan Grand Discovery: Baku Experience

The morning schedule includes a private walking tour which will examine Baku's historical background through its Old City area named Icherisheher.

Afternoon:

The Heydar Aliyev Center tour leads to its architectural wonder which Zaha Hadid designed. The building's design which features flowing curves creates an architectural style that completely differs from the traditional design of nearby historical structures. The visit will include a photographic stop at the exterior which displays its beautiful design.

This will be the last pot for the day, here get peaceful view of the Caspian sea, via beachside strolls. This location is different and unique because it allows the oceans chilly winds to enter while taking enchanting views of the city.

Full Day: Embark on a scenic 5-hour drive (approx. 340 km) northwest to the beautiful region of Gabala, nestled in the Caucasus Mountains .

Tufandag Mountain Resort: Your first stop is this modern winter-summer complex. Trippers will feel the exhilaration by taking the lift of Tufandag Cable motorcar. Through the lift, trippers will see the mesmerizing views of Greater Caucasus Mountains and the lush green terrains.

Then, next location of the day will be Nohur Lake. This place offers the travellers a scenic and peaceful view with a complete natural setting. The peaceful area which is surrounded by green mountains provides an ideal location for taking photos and experiencing its calm atmosphere. You can also take a boat ride on the lake .

After a full day of exploration, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Baku.

Morning:

Fire serves as the main theme for today which represents the core of Azerbaijan's national identity.

Ateshgah (Fire Temple): The temple complex located in Surakhani suburbs served as a Hindu and Sikh and Zoroastrian religious site. The Persian word "Atash" means fire and the temple's main altar stands above a natural gas vent which used to burn continuously.

Yanardag (Burning Mountain): This natural attraction exists only 25 minutes away from Baku but you must drive to reach it. A constant unextinguishable fire burns from the hillside because the sandstone material has developed a thin layer that allows flames to escape. The natural display creates a captivating experience which proves the region has extensive natural gas resources.

Afternoon:

In the afternoon, visit the Ganjlik Mall. It is one of the largest shopping mall of Baku. It’s a great place where all the tourists find the international brands, enjoy various cuisines at food courts, or just catch a movie at the cinema hall.

You will travel to a distance of 60 kilometers which extends to the southwest of Baku to reach another UNESCO World Heritage site which exists in Azerbaijan.

The Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape reserve contains more than 6000 ancient rock carvings through which visitors can explore petroglyphs that date from 5000 to 20000 years ago. The rock engravings show people who engaged in activities such as hunting dancing and fighting battles and using boats which enables scientists to understand how prehistoric people lived in the Caucasus region.

Afternoon:

In the afternoon, travellers will visit the beautiful alien landscape of Azerbaijan. This place is famous for the active mud volcanoes because of its favourable geographical characteristics. This location contains almost 50 percent of the world’s mud volcanoes. Here, travellers will have a keen observation of the bubbling of the volcano.

Deniz Mall: The impressive Deniz Mall which stands on land reclaimed from the Caspian Sea now functions as a shopping center when you return to Baku. The five-story entertainment and shopping complex contains international and local brands and multiple dining options which provide sea view dining.

The complete final day of your time there provides you with free time to explore Baku's lively street activities and its renowned dessert offerings.

Baklava Sweet Home: Your day begins with a trip to Baklava Sweet Home which serves as a local pastry shop. Authentic Azerbaijani Pakhlava (or Baklava) which you can sample and purchase at this location consists of a sweet pastry that has multiple layers and contains nuts while having cardamom and saffron as its flavoring elements. The item functions as an ideal gift which you can take back to your home country.

Nizami Street: It's a walker-friendly road that offers trippers an amazing experience. This road connects the main area to the Baku shopping area. It has colorful retail shops, fashion stores, and food court areas where excursionists can relax fluently.

In the morning, after your final breakfast at the hotel, you'll have a drop off at the airfield through a private transfer.
