Day 1: Arrival in Leh
- Arrive at Leh Airport and get a warm welcome from our representative, he’ll be there.
- Then transfer to your hotel and finish the check-in formalities.
- In the afternoon just unwind a bit, to adapt to Ladakh’s high altitude.
- Later, visit the historic Leh Palace and take in those wide panoramic views across the town.
- As evening comes, explore the calm Shanti Stupas, at a nice easy pace.
- You can stroll through Leh local markets for Shopping, cafes and some local handicrafts too.
- Have your dinner at the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: The day of exploring the Best Sightseeing
- Take a tasty breakfast at the hotel and go for the sightseeing.
- Go check out Sangam, that stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
- Next, stop by the well-known Magnetic Hill and watch that really curious optical illusion, it’s quite fascinating.
- Try to seek blessings at the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, for the peace of mind.
- After that, explore the Hall of Fame Museum, its dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army.
- You’ll also learn more about Ladakh’s military history, culture, and legacy.
- Catch the Light and Sound show at the Hall of Fame. Its totally optional. Also, make sure it includes the extra cost.
- By evening you’ll return back to Leh.
- Have dinner, and then stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Visiting the Iconic Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass
- Grab an early bite of your breakfast, and then start your scenic ride towards the Nubra Valley.
- Go ahead and cross the world-famous Khardung La Pass, it is one of the highest motorable stretches out there.
- As you move along you’ll see unbelievable Himalayan sceneries the whole way, which looks really breathtaking.
- Eventually you reach Hunder and you can wander through the well known white sand dunes.
- Keep an eye out for the rare double-humped Bactrian camels.
- There’s an optional thrilling camel ride too.
- After these check in at your camp or hotel in Nubra Valley.
- At night, let the quiet mountain atmosphere settle in, then dinner happens.
- Then you’ll have your overnight dinner.
Day 4: Nubra to Turtuk-One way Tour
- Kick off the day with breakfast then head out for Turtuk.
- Take the car, and drive through the picture-perfect valleys and mountain roads that feels really scenic.
- Go see one of the India’s northernmost villages, right by the Indo Pak border area.
- Try to soak in the Balti culture, where people live in the traditional way.
- While you’re at its pass by lovely apricot orchids, plus those cute local houses.
- Later, just wander through the calm village, with the best Himalayan Panorama around you.
- Then make your way back to the Nubra Valley by the evening.
- Have your dinner and stay at the hotel overnight.
Day 5: Nubra Valley – Sumur – Panamik – Siachen Base Camp Region
- Take a quick breakfast before you start the day’s outing.
- Then head out for a calm visit to Sumur Village, it feels so quiet.
- After that, go explore Samstanling Monastery, the historic site where many Buddhist monks live and practice.
- Your next sightseeing of the day will be Panamik Lake. It is pretty known for the natural hot springs through which you have a soothing experience.
- Besides the lake, you can also explore the local markets which is filled with the beautiful handicrafts.
- Later drive toward the Siachen Base Camp area, but only if you get Army permission.
- Along the way learn about why this is such a strategic region, the world’s highest battlefield and its importance.
- By evening return back to Nubra Valley.
- Have dinner and then overnight stay.
Day 6: Discovering the Pangong Lake Via Shayok
- Take breakfast at the hotel, and visit the prominent Diskit Monastery.
- Spend your time admiring the huge Maitreya Buddha Statue above the Nubra Valley.
- Then drive towards the astonishing Pangong Lake, taking the pretty Shayok route which feels quieter.
- Take the moment to just enjoy the lake water that looks crystal clear blue, and the mountains around it also feel really close.
- Take photos for the memories at one of Ladakh’s most iconic spots.
- Look out for the migratory birds, and just settle into the calm vibe.
- Later, start the return drive back to Leh.
- Have dinner, then stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
- Enjoy your final breakfast, at the hotel, surrounded by these overwhelming Himalayan surroundings, it feels almost unreal.
- Then immediately check out of the hotel
- Make a private transfer to the Leh Airport for your scheduled flight.
- Depart with your unforgettable memories of Leh, Ladakh.
