You will also get to travel to temples and holy places available in Kathmandu. This trip has covered all the holy places, and it is designed in a way that you can cover all the places without feeling tired. begins from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, and takes pilgrims on a spiritually enriching journey to the sacred sites of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet. Day 1: First day of trip

  • After you arrive in Kathmandu,
  • A driver plus guide will attend to you and take you to the assigned hotels.
  • Get to the hotel rooms after check, and take proper rest.
  • In the evening you will get a short introduction about the upcoming pilgrimage.
  • The hotel will be served by the hotel.
  • Spend your night at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Holy places of Kathmandu

  • This will be the beginning of your pilgrimage trip.
  • First, you will have breakfast.
  • Then leave for the Pashupatinath temple, it is considered as the most important Hindu temple.
  • This temple is dedicated to lord shiva
  • Your next holy destination will be the Shakti Peeth.
  • The next holy place is the Budhanilkantha Temple,
  • Here, the sacred statue of lord shiva is resting inside the pond.
  • After visiting all the holy points
  • Get back to the hotel.
  • Had your dinner and stay at the hotel for that night.
  • If required, you can book services like everest mountains flight or get an extended Muktinath tour.

Day 3: Drive to Kodari

  • Get freshen up and had a complete breakfast.
  • Then head to the Nepal-Tibet border
  • Travel on the Araniko Highway to reach Kodari,
  • The journey will last for 5 hours approx.
  • While driving, get wonderful views from the foothills of the Himalaya and the river valleys.
  • After you arrive, check in at the guest house and rest
  • You can explore the nearby area if you want.
  • The dinner is prepared at the guest house.
  • Stay there for the night.

Day 4: Heading for Nyalam

  • You will now leave for Nyalam.
  • Had your breakfast and leave the guest house
  • From here you have to walk for almost 15 minutes.
  • Then you will reach the border.
  • Complete all the custom process.
  • Then you will sit in the cabs and drive for 1 hour
  • And this is your destination Nyalam.
  • This place is 3750 meters above the ground level.
  • This day you will adapt with the atmosphere and adjust with the altitude conditions.
  • Nyalam serves as the location for their overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive from Nyalam to Saga / Zhongba

  • You will refresh and had breakfast.
  • Then leave for Saga
  • On the way, you will cross the rural countryside of Tibet.
  • Also, cross the holy river of the Brahmaputra.
  • From there, drive for more than 100 kms, and you will reach Zhogba.
  • There, you will check in at one of the hotels.
  • The hotel serves as their accommodation for the night.

Day 6: Drive from Saga to Mansarovar Lake

  • On this day, you will leave for Lake Mansarovar.
  • After you have your breakfast.
  • Crossing wonderful views on the way.
  • You will reach the shoreside of the Mansarovar Lake.
  • From there fill up the holy water.
  • Then head to do a parikrama of the river via car.
  • After that, you will reach the guest house.
  • The guests will spend the night there after having their lunch.

Day 7: Towards Darchen

  • In the morning, perform holy rituals and prayers.
  • Spend time in religious activities.
  • You can also collect the holy water and do some meditation.
  • Then the guests will leave for Darchen by the evening.
  • This is a base camp for the Mount Kailash pilgrimage.
  • It will take almost 1 hour to reach there.
  • You will spend the night at the Darchen accommodation.
  • The dinner will be served by the accommodations.

Day 8: First Day of Kailash Parikrama

  • The guest will have breakfast and leave for the Yama Dwar.
  • This place serves as a beginning point for the parikrama of Kailash.
  • From here, you will head for Dirapuk.
  • After which you will trek for 12 kms.
  • On the way you will experience breathtaking views or kailash mountains and scenery.
  • If you don't want to trek you can get back to Darchen.
  • The trekking guests will stay at Dirapuk for the night.

Day 9: Zuthulphuk – Second Day of Outer Kora

  • You will start trekking early in the morning.
  • You have to climb for first 2 hours to reach the Dolma La -pass
  • Get to experience two main spots of Kailash Parikrama, the Yamasthal and the Shivasthal.
  • Get refreshment and tea at Dolma La Pass, rest for some time.
  • From there, you have to go down the trail for some hours.
  • Then start trekking for Zuthulphuk, which will take you 2-3 hours
  • On the way, you will get sights of the holy Gauri Kunda.
  • Stay at Zuthulphuk

Day 10: Drive to Saga (4550 m)

  • Start the day with breakfast
  • Then head for 8 kms where you will get your cab.
  • The driver will take you to Darchen.
  • Then head to Saga.
  • After reaching get to the guest house
  • Rest there for that night.

Day 11: Drive to Nyalam

  • Leave the guest house after taking your breakfast.
  • Move towards Nyalam.
  • On the way, get the most beautiful views of the mountains that feel like paintings.
  • Reach and take rest at the guest house.

Day 12: Heading Back to Nepal

  • Start your day with breakfast and leave for Kathmandu.
  • First drive to the borders of China and Nepal.
  • There complete the immigration procedure and other formalities.
  • Then head with your drive.
  • After completing the process of check-in.
  • Rest and receive the Kailash yatra completion certificate.
  • Get the dinner and spend the night in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Completion of Trip

  • Free time until your flight departure.
  • Transfer to Kathmandu Airport about 2 hours before the flight (approx. 30 minutes drive).

Visa or Passport Requirement

  • Travelers with Indian passport: no Nepal visa required, Tibet permit is required.
  • For others, the Nepal visa is available on arrival, and the permit for Tibet is required with the original passport submission.

Insurance

Cancellation Policy

  • 90–150 days before departure: Full refund except deposit.
  • 45–90 days before departure: 75% refund except deposit.
  • Less than 45 days before departure: No refund.

Exclusion

  • The expenses for personal travel insurance together with rescue services and emergency evacuation needs to be covered.
  • The NRI visa fee for Nepal re-entry needs to be paid by those who require it.
  • The recommended amount for tipping should be given to all guides and drivers and staff members who assist them.
  • All personal costs which include drinks and laundry services and phone usage and shopping activities need to be paid by the customer.
  • The Kailash Parikrama requires payment of 4500 Yuan for both horse riding and porter services.
  • Travelers need to purchase international and domestic air tickets which connect Kathmandu to other destinations.
  • Travelers who return to Kathmandu before their scheduled departure from Tibet will incur extra hotel charges which will apply until their departure.
  • The situation will create additional costs when political unrest or natural disasters or unexpected events happen.
  • The Tibet authorities require a penalty fee of USD 100 for each group member who departs from Tibet before the scheduled time.
  • The total cost of the trip will include both accommodation expenses and transportation costs.
  • Payments through an Indian bank account will incur 5% GST while bank wire transfers to the Nepal bank account will not attract any GST charge.
