Overview

The Char Dham Yatra represents one of Hinduism's most important sacred expedition routes which connects four holy spots located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The route of the trip begins at Yamunotri which serves as the origin point of the Yamuna River and continues to Gangotri which marks the starting point of the Ganges River and Kedarnath which features a tabernacle devoted to Lord Shiva and Badrinath which contains a tabernacle devoted to Lord Vishnu.

People who start this yatra believe that it leads them toward salvation (moksha) while helping them purge their sins. The journey offers visitors both a spiritual experience and an outdoor adventure which includes beautiful mountain views and lush forest paths and the sound of flowing rivers. The path demands physical strength because of its elevated locations and trekking requirements yet the spiritual benefits and natural beauty create a memory which lasts forever.

Day 1: Delhi - Haridwar (225 Km / 5-6 Hrs)

All the travellers will have a comfortable pickup in the morning from Delhi.
The group will reach Haridwar. After reaching the hotel, complete your check-in process.
In the evening, tourists will reach Har Ki Pauri. There, they will feel the divine spirituality by attending the Har Ki Pauri.
In the night, all the travellers will have dinner and stay at the hotel.

Special Note: All the tourists will have to complete their Char Dham Yatra registration through the online system before their trip.

Day 2: Haridwar - Barkot (205 Km / 7-8 Hrs)

After finishing breakfast, all the travellers start their journey to Barkot. It lies at the foothold of the Yamunotri mountains.
All the travellers will enjoy the beauty of the mountains and rivers throughout their journey to Barkot.
After arriving at the destination, check into the accommodation. After that, you're free for the whole day. You can take some rest or explore the local areas.
At night, have your dinner at the hotel and preserve your energy for the entire journey by taking some rest.

Day 3: Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (45 Km Drive + 5 Km Trek One Way)

The group will start their trek to Hanuman Chatti from the Janki Chatti.
It is a 5 km trek to the Yamunotri temple that starts from the Jank Chatti. Doli and horse services are available for the trek at your own expense.
At Yamunotri you should take a sacred bath in the Yamuna River and make your religious immolations at the sanctum. After completing darshan we will return to Janki Chatti and also drive back to Barkot.
The group will have their dinner and stay overnight in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot - Uttarkashi (85 Km / 3-4 Hrs)

Upon finishing your breakfast, you will drive to Uttarkashi, which is a sacred megacity that's located along the mounts of the Bhagirathi River.
There's a place called Shiv Gufa Dwar along the way so you can take a multiple moments outside of your vehicle to visit this point as part of your trip.
Once you arrive at the hotel for check-in, that's when you will complete your first item on the agenda for this visit to Uttarkashi which is the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
You'll overnight in Uttarkashi and have dinner in Uttarkashi that night.

Day 5: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (97 Km / 3-4 Hrs One Way)

You need to have breakfast or lunch before you drive to Gangotri which has an elevation of 3048 measures.
Upon your appearance you should take a sacred bath in the Bhagirathi River and conduct your deification at the Gangotri Temple.
The Himalayas present their stunning beauty for you to witness.
The group will return to Uttarkashi by vehicle during the afternoon.
The group will have their evening meal and sleep at a location in Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi - Sitapur (203 Km / 8-9 Hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive towards Sitapur.
The drive through the mountains lasts for a long time while providing beautiful views of nature. The viewers may experience different types of scenery throughout the entire journey.
You should check into your accommodation after you arrive at the destination.
The group will have dinner followed by their stay until morning in Sitapur.

Day 7: Sitapur - Sonprayag - Kedarnath (4 Km Drive + 20 Km Trek)

The drive to Sonprayag begins at very early morning because it serves as the final motorable point of the journey.
The yatra reaches its most difficult section which requires travelers to complete a 20 kilometer walk to Kedarnath which stands at 3,583 meters. Ponies and dolis are available for hire (at your own cost).
The Mandakini River path presents a steep challenge which provides beautiful views to walkers.
When you arrive, you should check into basic shared accommodation which includes GMVN camp and similar facilities. The Kedarnath Temple will be visited by us to attend the evening prayers.
The group will have dinner before spending the night in Kedarnath.

Day 8: Kedarnath - Sonprayag - Guptkashi (20 Km Trek + 30 Km Drive)

The pilgrims should wake up beforehand to perform darshan at Kedarnath Temple and also do to Bhairav Nath Temple.
Your journey back down to Sonprayag must start after you complete your darshan.
The distance from Sonprayag to Guptkashi requires only a brief drive.
The hotel stay requires visitors to check in at their designated time. After completing the extended trek, I will take a rest period.
The guests will have dinner in Guptkashi before they spend the night there.

Day 9: Guptkashi - Joshimath - Badrinath (200 Km / 7-8 Hrs)

After an early breakfast, the group will check out before driving to Badrinath.
The route through Joshimath provides beautiful views but requires more time to travel. All the tourists need to reach Govindghat in the evening. As it reaches the essential crossing point.
In Badrinath, you will check into your hotel after your arrival. The group will freshen up before visiting the Badrinath Temple at night.
The holy dip in Tapt Kund (hot water spring) serves as the required activity for entering the temple.
The group will have their dinner before staying overnight in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (165 Km / 6-7 Hrs)

The Badrinath Temple began its darshan schedule during the early morning hours.
The breakfast meal at the hotel will be followed by our trip to Mana Village which serves as the final settlement before reaching the Tibetan border so we can visit Bheem Pul and Saraswati Mandir.
Your driving trip to Rudraprayag will start at this point.
Once you arrive at the hotel, complete your check- in process.
In the night, all the trippers will have feast, which is followed by the late stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 11: Rudraprayag - Haridwar (160 Km / 6-7 Hrs)

After finishing breakfast, you should drive to Rishikesh.
You can make a stop during your trip to the Dhari Devi Temple for prayer services.
The Laxman Jhula bridge stands as a notorious corner that guests should explore.
Afterward, you will travel to Haridwar. Check into your hotel.
The guests will have dinner followed by an overnight stay at the Haridwar hotel.

Day 12: Haridwar - Delhi (225 Km / 5-6 Hrs)

Your final drive back to Delhi needs to start after breakfast.
Your scheduled flight will drop you off in Delhi.
